I read it last week, just before I saw your post, and LOVED it. I don't know if it's the post pregnancy hormones, or what, but I sobbed at the end of it. I think it's a fun and sweet story. Definitely worth an obscure on-line award.

I actually thought of Cybil Shepherd when I first read the name. I'm glad you explained where it actually came from.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32358078.post-1161390160737714782006-10-20T20:22:00.000-04:002006-10-20T20:22:00.000-04:00Hmm . . . so, we could please everybody and have a...Hmm . . . so, we could please everybody and have a Cubist rendering of a Cybil cartoon character wearing a Pooh t-shirt . . . rendered entirely in ASCII! And on holographic foil! Not only would it be the most unique book award sticker in history, but it could also be used to instantly blind any of our foes!

Keep up the good work folks -- any other ideas floating out there?Brookehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06949700159593843060noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32358078.post-1161305404739395042006-10-19T20:50:00.000-04:002006-10-19T20:50:00.000-04:00Oooh, you're officially an expert! Although, the impulse to make her look like Cybil Shepherd would probably be too hard to resist. The Doifterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10309247766630428302noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32358078.post-1161277572700224612006-10-19T13:06:00.000-04:002006-10-19T13:06:00.000-04:00Howzabout a picture of Pooh done entirely in ones ...Howzabout a picture of Pooh done entirely in ones and zeros? Or maybe another classic children's book image. Alice from Alice In Wonderland? A flying monkey? The mind boggles.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32358078.post-1161225800317153452006-10-18T22:43:00.000-04:002006-10-18T22:43:00.000-04:00I don't know why, but I see the word Cybil and I c...I don't know why, but I see the word Cybil and I can't help but imagine something modern art-ish. Something cubist like Picasso, or abstract like Miro or Klee. Doesn't have a dang thing to do with blogging, the award or what it honors, but it sounds like it would be a cool looking medalion on a book. And just to be different, how about in a red foil color.david elzeyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16653215150526146224noreply@blogger.com
